1957 Les Paul is probably the most popular 1950s LP, along with the iconic 1959 model. This particular model is a reissue and it comes with Goldtop color scheme. Body of this model is made of mahogany back and plain maple top. Top panel is carved, painted in gold and finished in gloss. Creme binding is applied around the edges. Back and sides are painted in brown, also finished in gloss. Bridge section is equipped with a regular tune-o-matic/stoptail combo with chrome plating. 1957 was the year Seth Lover`s active humbuckers came into mass production and this reissue features Burstbucker pickups, direct successors of the legendary PAFs. Mahogany neck is equipped with a rounded '50s contour in the back and a 22-fret rosewood fingerboard on top.
