One of the finest Les Paul models ever was built in 1959 and it featured some of the most recognizable and classic LP appointments. This time around Gibson Custom is making a reissue of this legend and it comes with a single-cut body made of mahogany back and flamed maple top. Top panel is bound in creme and finished in high gloss. Also, there is a white plastic pickguard, the classic one, which was used on 1959 model. Tune-o-matic bridge is accompanied by a stoptail bar and is plated in chrome. Les Paul models are known for their powerful tone and this six-stringer gets it from a pair of active humbucker pickups. Mahogany neck sports '50s contour and it`s set-in. It`s topped with a 22-fret rosewood fingerboard.
