VOS treatment guarantees the tone and feel as close to the original instrument, as it is possible today. One of Gibson`s most successful models ever, the 1959 Les Paul Standard is being made by Gibson Custom and it`s treated with VOS treatment for the maximum result. Body of this model is made with classic single cut contour and set-in neck. Tone woods used on this body are mahogany for the back and flamed maple on top. Ice Tea, Faded Tobacco and Worn Cherry make up the color palette. Tune-o-matic bridge with stoptail bar is found in bridge section. Pair of Burstbucker pickups is installed in their front. Mahogany-made neck is fit with classic '50s contour in the back. 22-fret fingerboard is made of rosewood.
