Gibson Custom maintains a wide and luxurious palette of semi and fully hollow-bodied electric guitars. 1959 ES-335 Dot Reissue is a tribute to one of the earliest semi-hollows in the industry. It comes with semi-hollow and double cut body made of maple. Back, sides and top are all made of maple and finished in high gloss. Top and back are both bound in creme binding, and top features a pair of "f" holes. Also, a raised pickguard is present on the top. Tune-o-matic bridge is accompanied by a stoptail bar in the back. Classic `57 humbuckers have a standard Gibson controls unit. Neck on this model is equipped with a set-in joint and `50s back contour. It is topped with a 22-fret rosewood fingerboard. Frets are marked with white dot inlays.
