1965 Firebird VII is a luxurious Firebird made by Gibson Custom. It is one of four Firebird models in current production and one of three with Maestro Vibrola bridge. Bridge section contains a tune-o-matic bridge in the front with maestro tailpiece in the back. Both components are plated in gold, as is the rest of the hardware. Body of this model is made of mahogany, it features classic Firebird contour and neck-through construction. White is the only color scheme assigned to this model and it`s finished in high gloss. There are three pickups installed on this model, all of them are minibuckers. Neck is made of mahogany and it runs through the entire length of the body. It`s topped with a regular 22-fret fingerboard made of rosewood.
