From Alaska to Antarctica and from Tokyo to New York, millions upon millions of guitarists start out, learn to play, hone their skills and rock the stages with a Les Paul guitar in their hands. In that name, Gibson Custom reveals the 2014 Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Les Paul Custom guitar. Only fifteen of these will be made before the production ceases forever, thus guaranteeing the ultimate exclusivity to the owners. This solid and single-cut six-stringer has a mahogany body with a plain maple top and set in mahogany neck. Antique Pelham Blue color is aged to the vintage green color, representing the natural aging of the lacquer. No other color option is available for this model. Two-piece bridge unit is fronted with a pair of Custombucker pickups with Alnico 3 magnets. Classic controls setup includes two volume knobs, two tone knobs and a three-way toggle pickup switch. Mahogany neck is topped with a 22-fret ebony fingerboard. Custom 12th fret inlay, 1-11/16" wide string nut and classic 12" radius complete the fingerboard specs. The MSRP for this ultra exclusive LP is not being revealed by Gibson Custom at this moment.
