Collector`s Choice is a unique concept in that its models do not appear as numbered, but rather when all of the required elements and materials become available for a certain model. #35 is dedicated to the legendary "Gruhn Burst" 1959 Les Paul.
Collector`s Choice #35 1959 Les Paul Vic DaPra Gruhn Burst offers a precise remake of the 1959 legend numbered #9 0627. The limited edition replica costs $10,499, which is on the upper end of the currently available catalog (Mark Knopfler and Mike McCready`s signed models are the only more expensive models).
Some of the main appointments include a one-piece mahogany body, two-piece maple top (precisely recreated), one-piece mahogany neck (hot hide glue construction), one-piece rosewood fingerboard, vintage aged hardware and custom wound pickups.
