L-4 CES is a vintage-styled jazz guitar made by Gibson Custom. It is a part of the Archtop series in Custom catalog and it brings a full-sized single cut body made of mahogany and spruce. Mahogany is used for the back and side panels, while the spruce is used for the top. Tone wood selection is similar to the acoustic steel-stringers, but this one is a thoroughbred electric jazz guitar. It features carved top with creme binding, "f" holes and raised pickguard. Bridge is vintage-styled, it has a tune-o-matic bridge with ebony base and trapezoid tailpiece in the back. In their front, Gibson Custom installs a pair of Classic '57 humbuckers with separate controls. Set mahogany neck is made of a single piece of wood and it`s topped with a 20-fret ebony fingerboard.
