Les Paul Custom is the king of all standard LPs, excluding signature models, vintage reissues and special limited editions with super luxurious appointments. This current custom is equipped with modern features in order to satisfy the modern player. It`s body is still single cut, but is now equipped with strategically placed weight relief chambers within the mahogany base of the body. Top is made of maple and it`s bound in creme and finished in high gloss. Black pickguard is also installed on the top. Tune-o-matic bridge is paired with a stoptail bar and both are plated in chrome. 490R humbucker is in the neck position and 498T is in the bridge position. One-piece neck is made of mahogany and it`s equipped with modern contour in the back. 22-fret fingerboard is made of ebony.
