Trini Lopez model is a fully hollow bodied guitar with a double cut body. It is made of maple back, sides and top. Maple is solid and hand-picked by Gibson Custom luthiers. Both back and top panels on this model are bound in creme binding, Gibson`s signature binding. Top is also equipped with a pair of diamond-shaped holes, instead of standard "f" holes. There is no pickguard on this model. Bridge section is equipped with one of the most standard combinations, tune-o-matic bridge in the front is backed by a trapezoid tailpiece. Classic '57 humbuckers are controlled with separate volume and tone knobs. Neck on this model is made of mahogany, it is set-in and fit with 60s contour in the back. 22-fret rosewood fingerboard is installed on the top.
