After the successful experiments with Explorer and Flying V, Gibson is finally introducing a seven-string LP. This one`s made for all the players out there who want the low B string, but are not willing to compromise the warmth and tightness they`re used to with their already owned Les Pauls. Les Paul Classic 7 String comes with a standard mahogany body with a traditional weight relief and a plain maple top. Ebony color scheme with nitrocellulose finish, creme binding around the top and chrome hardware is the only option available for this model. Seymour Duncan`s JB and `59 pickups installed in front of the traditional two-piece bridge unit make up the best SD combo for metal. Set mahogany neck rocks the slim taper profile in the back and a 22-fret rosewood fingerboard. Grover`s Keystone tuners and the regular 24-3/4" scale wrap up the specs list.
