Les Paul Custom is the top tier of Les Paul series and it showcases only the finest appointments and materials. But, for all players and fans who think Gibson can not out do the standard Custom LP, here comes the Les Paul Custom Koa Top. This one features the classic mahogany back with koa instead of maple top. Mahogany back is equipped with modern chambers and top is carved in classic LP manner. Antique Natural with nitrocellulose gloss finish is the only color scheme available for this model. Neck is traditionally made of mahogany and it sports the famous slim taper contour in the back. On it`s top, there`s a 22-fret fingerboard made of rosewood. Gibson`s standard active humbuckers with gold-plated covers are installed on this model.
