LP Joe Bonamassa Signature is a limited edition model made for 2016. Only 50 guitars will be available through selected retailers, all hand-signed by Joe Bonamassa himself. With price tag of $5,999, it is one of the most expensive and exclusive Gibson USA guitars ever made. LP Joe Bonamassa Signature comes in a beautiful Tomato Soup Burst graced by splendid lacquer finish, nickel hardware and creme binding around the body and neck. The body is a traditional one, mostly leaning on the `60s LPs legacy; it is made of a chambered mahogany base (traditional 9-hole weight relief) and a triple A class flamed maple top. Slim taper-contoured neck is also made of mahogany (one piece); it features the classic 16th fret mortise & tenon joint and is topped with a 22-fret rosewood fingerboard. 1.695" wide nylon nut, trapezoid inlays and 12" radius are featured on the fingerboard. Just like the more affordable Joe Bonamassa Les Paul ($3,999), this one sports a customized pickups combo made up of a pair of Seymour Duncan humbuckers (53-Nc in the bridge and 52-Nc in the neck position). Joe`s custom controls are also there. Other premium features include a Bigsby-supported tune-o-matic bridge and vintage Keystone tuners. All fifty guitars come in hard-shell cases hand-signed and numbered by Joe Bonamassa.
