Gibson SG Junior '60s is the SG`s one-pickup model. Juniors started back in the 1950s with Les Paul series, and continued on with SG in 1960s. SG Juniors never quite reached the heights of LP Junior models, but they still have their dedicated fan base. This one comes with a standard SG body. This means a solid, double-cut body made of mahogany. It has the recognizable double cutaway and a 19th-fret set-in neck joint. Heritage Cherry and Ebony comprise the color palette for this six-string Junior. Simple bridge section has a wrap around bridge with chrome plating. One P-90 single-coil pickup is installed in the bridge position. Mahogany neck is set in and topped with a 22-fret fingerboard made of baked maple.
