SG Standard has been the flagship and the mainstay of the SG range in recent years, with special and limited run models being only occasionally released. 2017 Gibson USA Traditional lineup sports three SG models and Standard T is the top one. SG Standard 2017 T kicks off with a solid mahogany body, glued-in mahogany neck and one-piece rosewood fingerboard. The beveled body sports the small, black-colored pickguard, while the neck`s equipped with the classic slim taper profile. 22-fret fingerboard`s bound in creme and has a self-lubricating tektoid nut. Cherry Burst, Ebony and Heritage Cherry are the only available color options. Main hardware and electronics options include a two-piece tune-o-matic/stoptail bridge, locking Grover tuners and Classic 57 humbuckers (with classic Gibson controls).
