Invader series is G&L`s take on the Superstrat/Soloist story. These are made primarily for metal and shred guitar players. Pickups department on this one includes three pickups; bridge and neck positions have full-sized Seymour Duncan humbuckers and the middle one is a stacked G&L humbucker. Master volume, master tone, mini-switch and a five-position blade pickup selector comprise the controls unit. Double-locking Floyd Rose tremolo is installed on this model and it features standard chrome plating. Body is solid, double-cut and made of either swamp ash, or alder. Solid finishes have alder bodies, while the transparent options come with swamp ash bodies. Neck on this model is made of maple and it`s bolted to the body. On it`s top, there`s a 22-fret fingerboard made either of rosewood, or maple.
