USA Comanche series is a line of luxurious Strat-like guitars made by G&L. This line offers two Comanche models, one solid and one semi-hollow. Both of them have the classic Strat shape, bolted necks characteristic pickguard and 22-fret fingerboards. USA Comanche is the solid-bodied variant. It is equipped with Z-3 electronics system. All three pickups installed on this model have Z-coiled G&L pickups. Five-position blade switch, two tone knobs, one volume and one mini-switch comprise the controls unit. Tremolo bridge installed behind the pickups is a non-locking one and it features chrome plating. Body of this beautiful Comanche axe is made of swamp ash or alder. Top is in both cases made of flamed maple. Bolt-on maple neck is topped with a 22-fret maple fingerboard.

ive owned a comanche for about 5 years now. and i put this guitar up against anything for tone and play ability. vintage or present. bar none.
