Double-neck solid guitars have been around almost since the emergence of the solid-body electric guitar itself. The first prominent example was Jimmy Page`s EDS-1275, which paved the way for all double-necks to come. The most frequent combinations are six-string/twelve-string and a four-string/six-string. G5265 Electromatic features two six-string necks, but with different scale lengths. The upper neck sports a 29-3/4" baritone scale, while the lower one has a short 24-3/4" scale. Both have 22-fret fingerboards w/dot inlays, 1-11/16" nuts, and white binding. Other notable features include Gretsch pickups (minibuckers on the baritone side, standard humbuckers on the tenor side) w/partly shared controls, die-cast tuners, and two different Bigsby vibrato bridge models.
