G6128TDS is one of many Jet models in Gretsch catalog. It is a Duo Jet guitar, to be precise and it comes with a completely solid single-cut body. Despite being Gretsch`s favorite body tonewood, laminated maple is forced to share the body of this gorgeous Duo Jet with mahogany. Maple takes the top and mahogany is in the back. This is one of the oldest and classic combos in the industry. On top of the black-clad body, Gretsch installs a chrome-plated adjust-o-matic bridge whit bigsby vibrato bar in the back. Discreet design of Dynasonic singles hides very potent magnets with very versatile tone. Neck on this six-stringer is made of a single piece of mahogany. The set in neck is topped with a 22-fret fingerboard made of rosewood.
