G6196T-59 Vintage Select Edition `59 Country Club belongs to the elite Vintage Select Edition series. It is one of ten models which make up its exclusive lineup. All of the models included are based on the actual guitars which were cornerstones of Gretsch catalog back in the 50`s and 60`s. G6196T-59 Vintage Select Edition `59 Country Club starts off with a single-cut Country Club (ES) body made of laminated maple. The U-shaped neck is also made of maple. 22-fret ebony fingerboard on its top completes the chassis. Cadillac Green is chosen as the only color option for this Country Club six-string; it is contrasted with golden hardware. Two TV Jones humbuckers come in with a classic Gretsch set of controls and classic Gretsch tone. Bigsby-equipped bridge and Grover tuners wrap the list of major features.
