In recent years, Gretsch had introduced a wide variety of instruments, with most of them being in form of Limited Edition issues. G6136T-59 Limited Edition Falcon w/Bigsby is one of them. It was introduced at 2018 Summer NAMM, along with eight other models. G6136T-59 comes in with a double-cut Falcon body (fully hollow construction, trestle bracing, laminated maple back/sides/top, arched back & top, elevated pickguard), set-in neck joint, TV Jones pickups (Ray Butts Ful-Fidelity humbuckers in bridge & neck), and premium hardware. Gretsch offers this beauty only in Lake Placid Blue (gloss finish, gold hardware, white binding). Other notable features include a maple neck (U profile), 22-fret ebony fingerboard (thumbnail inlays, 25.5" scale, 1.6875" nut), Bigsby bridge, and Grover Imperial tuners.
