Vintage Select Edition is a brand new section of Gretsch catalog. It includes super exclusive guitars based on the original Gretsch icons of the 50`s and 60`s. All of the models in the series` lineup feature top class tonewoods, electronics and hardware. G6136T-59 Vintage Select Edition `59 Falcon kicks off with a single-cut Falcon body made completely of maple (laminated) and a glued-in neck made of maple, as well. Gold sparkle binding, gold-plated hardware and detachable pickguard (also gold-plated) decorate the top. The neck is equipped with a traditional U contour in the back and a 22-fret ebony fingerboard on top. Pair of TV Jones Classic humbuckers boasts that big ole Gretsch tone which shaped the rock music in the 50`s and 60`s. Standard bridge with Bigsby vibrato bar and Grover tuners complete the list of major specs.
