Retroscape Electric Guitars by Hagstrom
Hagstrom is one of the few commercially successful guitar brands from mainland Europe. They hail from Sweden, offering a wide variety of electric and acoustic instruments. One of the hallmarks of this great brand is the authenticity with which its models breathe.
Retroscape`s Impala model is an unorthodox rocker, made for unorthodox rockers. And blues and jazz players, as well. It rocks a flat-top mahogany body with a vintage black pickguard on top. The neck is also made of mahogany and it`s attached to the body through a classic mortise & tenon joint. 22-fret resinator fingerboard is a staple feature throughout the catalog and Retroscope`s no exception (Impala has one). Two Hagstrom AlNiCo-5 Retro-S single coil pickups come in with one of the strangest control units ever seen on a guitar. Tune-o-matic roller bridge with a floating Tremar tailpiece forms a top-load bridge, while the Die-cst tuners (also Hagstrom) bring a great level of tuning and intonation stability.
