XL-2 Left Handed is a model from the Hagstrom`s XL series of double cutaway electric guitars. This series offers modern soloist shaped axes made primarily for the shredders among us. Solid basswood bodies are topped with flamed maple veneers. These have beveled edges on some color options, which further gives an impression of style and class. Finish is gloss. In the bridge section Hagstrom installs a tremolo with string-through construction and chrome plating. Pickups come in H/H layout and are equipped with a simple controls unit. Master volume, master tone and three-way toggle pickup switch are accompanied by a two-way mini switch for coil splitting. Neck on this model is made of maple and it features a set-in joint. 24-fingerboard is made of resinator.
