Minarik is a brand of vintage-styled electric guitars and basses, aimed primarily at musicians in punk/surf/rockabilly/psychobilly bands. The current roster is small and has around a dozen guitars, with only a handful of basses. 65 Custom is one of the six-stringers. It rocks the classic `60s offset body design, fully accessible neck, custom-wound pickups (a pair of specially-made P-90 single-coils with a standard set of controls), and vintage hardware. Main tonewood and hardware appointments include a solid and double-cut alder body w/vintage-style pickguard on top, hard rock maple neck w/bolt-on joint, a 22-fret fingerboard made of rosewood (small dot inlays, 24-3/4" scale, white binding, zero fret nut), Hallmark`s own vibrato bridge, and vintage-style tuners.
