Korina models in Hamer catalog are not made of korina wood. Instead, Hamer uses white limba as the substitute, for these two tonewoods have very similar feel and tone. However, all of the "Natural" color schemes are actually tinted to take on the korina shade. Standard Korina model from the XT Standard series comes with a solid Explorer-like body made of maple, instead of limba, due to the pricing issues. Entire body is made of maple, there is no top wood cover on this model. Bridge section is made up of the tune-o-matic bridge in the front and the stoptail bar in the back. A pair of Hamer humbuckers is installed in the front. Neck on this model is made of maple and it is topped with a 22-fret rosewood fingerboard.
