Vector Flametop is a model from the XT Vector series in the Hamer catalog. It comes with a solid, V-shaped body made of alder back and flamed maple top. Use of alder as the main body tonewood for this series is one of the most unusual aspects of this series. It gives a specific tone to this series, different from a vast majority of vintage-styled Vs found across the market. Gibson`s Vs have always been made of mahogany and other manufacturers mostly follow the cue. Hamer has selected alder and pairs it with maple necks. Vector Flametop has a tune-o-matic bridge on the top and a pair of Hamer humbuckers in the front. Maple neck is topped with a series standard 22-fret rosewood fingerboard.
