Artstar Prestige Electric Guitars by Ibanez
Artstar series takes it`s pride in elegance and vintage jazz styling. Ibanez claims that the models of the Artstar domain are legitimate heirs of the classic jazz boxes of the past and that they offer the same playing and tonal experience as the legendary six-stringers of the past. Models from this series are fully hollow and feature passive electronics (mostly Ibanez 58 humbuckers). For 2014, three new models have been introduced into the new Artstar Prestige series and AF200 is one of them. It is a fully hollow guitar made of laminated maple back and sides and a laminated spruce sound board on the top. this results in a lightweight guitar with a mighty tone. On it`s bound and carved top, Ibanez installs the vintage-styled bridge made of ebony. It is paired with a trapezoid tailpiece in the back. Passive Super 58 humbuckers are controlled through split volume and tone pots and a three-way toggle pickup switch. Neck on this model is made of mahogany and maple and it is set in. On it`s top, there is a 20-fret fingerboard made of ebony.
