Artcore series is being updated with four new models for 2014 and AF75TDG is one of them. This vintage-styled single-cut rocks the fully hollow construction, classic design and super elegant Ibanez styling. Back, sides and the top are made of maple. Maple gives a snappy tone with strong mids and a lot of clarity, which is perfect for jazz music. Both the back and top panels are carved to improve the reverberation of tone within the body cavity. Top is bound in white (black binding on the white variant) and is fit with a vintage-styled tortoise shell pickguard. Bridge section is equipped with an ART-2 bridge and a roller bar. Entire construction is supported by a trapezoid tailpiece in the back. In front of the bridge section, Ibanez installs a pair of passive ACH pickups (alnico humbuckers). They come with separate volume and tone knobs, while the pickup switch is a three-way toggle switch. Mahogany neck has the Artcore contour in the back and a 20-fret rosewood fingerboard on the top.
