AFD75T is a long running model in the Ibanez catalog and is also one of the models which defined the Artcore range. For 2014, Ibanez presents the updated version of this classic. AFD75T has retained it`s most recognizable features, such as the vintage-styled single-cut design, arched top and back, sparkle finish and see-thru pickguard. Back, side and top panels are made of maple, while the neck is made of mahogany. This is one of the most popular and sought after tonewood combos for jazz guitars, for the maple-made body gives very crisp and responsive tone and mahogany neck softens it up just a little bit. On the top, Ibanez installs an elaborate bridge unit and passive pickups with a standard set of controls. Art2 bridge and roller bar with a trapezoid tailpiece are featured in the bridge section, while the ACH humbuckers comprise the pickups combo. Separate volume and tone knobs are featured along the pickups. Mahogany neck is set in and fit with a standard Artcore contour in the back. It is topped with a 20-fret fingerboard made of rosewood.
