Artcore Expressionist Electric Guitars by Ibanez
AFJ95 is one of many new models introduced by Ibanez at this year`s NAMM show and also one of four guitars placed within the lines of the new Artcore Expressionist series. It comes with a standard, vintage-styled and fully hollow body made of flamed maple and spruce. Maple is used for the back and side panels, while the spruce is used only for the carved top. Top side is decorated with creme binding around the edges and a pair of "f" holes. Elevated pickguard is also featured on the top of the body. Classic Vintage Sunburst color scheme is the only one assigned to this model and it features gloss finish. Bridge is made of wood and it`s fixed. Behind it, AFJ95 features a trapezoid tailpiece. In the front, there`s a pair of Super 58 Custom humbuckers. These active pickups feature standard split volume and tone knobs and a three-way toggle pickup switch. Three-piece neck is made of mahogany and maple and it features Expressionist contour in the back. On it`s top Ibanez installs a standard 22-fret rosewood fingerboard.
