AM153 is an Artstar series guitar; it comes with a short 24-7/10" scale, 22-fret fingerboard, lavish abalone inlays, gold-plated hardware and a pickguard which matches the body. Dark Brown Sunburst color scheme is the only available option for this upscale Artstar. AM153 is a double-cut guitar with figured bubinga back, sides and sound board. Both the back and top are arched and have matching binding. The neck is made of three pieces of mahogany and maple and it features the standard Artstar profile in the back. Bound ebony fingerboard tops the neck. 22 medium frets, split abalone block inlays and 1.69" nut complete the fingerboard. Super 58 pickups deliver that classic Ibanez Hollow Body tone we all know and love. ART-1 bridge and deluxe tuners complete this splendid jazz box.
