Artstar series` roster features vintage/modern electric guitars made for the contemporary jazz. blues, and rock players. All of the models sport the classic Archtop or ES-like bodies, passive electronics, elegant styling, and short scales (24.5"-25"). AS153L is an affordable vintage/modern guitar which features classic looks, modern playability, and versatile tone. Antique Yellow Sunburst (w/gloss finish, body & neck binding, headstock veneer, gold-plated hardware) is currently the only available option. Selling prices hover in the $1,000 region. The model highlights include an all-maple body (flame maple back/sides/top, wooden pickguard, top/back binding, arched top), a mahogany neck (3-piece construction, glued to the body), a 22-fret ebony fingerboard (medium frets, split abalone block inlays), ART-1 bridge, Super 58 passive/alnico pickups, and die-cast tuners.
