Ibanez has a vast line of semi-hollow and hollow bodied electric guitars with AM/AMF series representing the models with slightly smaller bodies than usual. The AM73B starts off with a double cutaway body made entirely of maple with arched top and "f" holes. Black flat and tobacco flat options are both finished in satin. The bridge is a chrome plated ART1, one of Ibanez own hardtail bridges. Two ACH2-S humbuckers are placed in the bridge and neck positions with split volume and tone controls and a three-way toggle switch. The neck is made of mahogany with set-in joint and bound rosewood fingerboard. The fingerboard features 22 large frets and dot inlays. Other features include: chrome hardware, synthetic bone nut and multi-ply body top binding. MSRP for this model is set at $523.54.
