Artcore Expressionist is one of the most recently introduced lines in the Artcore range. It`s task is to offer the potential players classic jazz boxes something extra. For the NAMM 2014, Ibanez has prepared several new models for this outstanding series and the revised, revitalized variant of the AM93 is one of them. This gorgeous six-stringer rocks the fully hollow body with the vintage double-cut contours. Back, sides and the top of the body are all made of flamed maple, while the neck is made of mahogany and maple combination. Sound board is bound in white and carved. Also, it features an elevated pickguard made of flamed maple and a pair of bound "f" holes. On the top, there is the classic tune-o-matic/stoptail bar bridge unit. Pickups in the front are passive Super 58 humbuckers with gold-plated covers. Split volume and tone knobs are accompanied by a three-way toggle pickup switch. Maple/mahogany neck is fit with the fast and comfortable Expressionist contour in the back and a bound 22-fret rosewood fingerboard on the top.
