GAX70 is the current flagship model from the GAX series made by Ibanez Guitars. This series is dedicated to the production of affordable double-cut guitars with SG-like bodies. GAX70 comes with a series standard dual hunbucker combo. It is controlled with a volume and tone knob for each pickup. Three-way toggle is used as the pickup switch. Bridge is a two-piece with tune-o-matic in the front and a stoptail bar in the back. Together with Ibanez tuners on the headstock, this bridge section holds the tuning and intonation really well. Body of this six-stringed axe is made of agathis, it`s solid, double-cut and finished in satin. It`s paired with a standard maple neck with bolt-on joint. Neck is topped with a 22-fret rosewood fingerboard.
