GRG Series models are inexpensive variants of Ibanez premium instruments. Models from this series receive the same treatment, setup and warranty as their expensive counterparts, but cost a lot less. GRG140 is a new model in the GRG lineup and it kicks off with a solid double cutaway body made of mahogany. This flat top model features an RG styled pickguard. It is available in sunburst and black color options with gloss finish. The bridge on this model is a FAT10 hardtail with chrome plating. The pickups on GRG140 are laid out in the H-S-S pattern and are controlled through master tone, master volume and a five position blade switch. The neck is made of maple and has a wizard III contour. Rosewood fingerboard sports 24 medium frets with dot position inlays. This model was featured at 2012 NAMM Show. The MSRP for this model is set at $291.
