GRGM21L is the same model as GRGM21, just that this one is made for the left-handed players. As all other GRGM models, GRGM21L has a 22" scale and fixed bridge. Ibanez managed to shrink the full-sized 25-1/2" scaled guitars to just 22" without compromising the tone and playability much. These models are advertised as perfect for young players and beginners. This particular model has a solid, double cut body made of basswood. It is flat on top and contoured in the back. There`s no top wood cover, only a plastic pickguard. Bridge is fixed and strings run through the body. Pickups on this one are passive humbuckers with a standard controls unit. Maple neck is bolted to the body and topped with a 24-fret rosewood fingerboard.
