RG2620ZE is a new model for 2012 and the NAMM 2012 show. It is placed within the RG Prestige line of models along with the top instruments bearing the RG badge. RG2620ZE starts off with a double cutaway basswood body. This flat top model is available in black gloss color. There are no pickguards and binding featured on this model. The bridge on RG2620ZE is Edge-Zero double locking tremolo bridge with cosmo black plating. The pickups on this model are two humbuckers, placed in the bridge and neck positions. Controls for these humbuckers consist of master tone, master volume and three-position blade. The neck on this model is made of five pieces of maple and walnut with wizard contour. Fingerboard sports 24 jumbo sized frets with lightning inlays. The MSRP is set at $1,995.
