RG652FX is the fixed bridge variant of the RG655, a model also introduced at this year`s NAMM Show. It comes with the identical set of specs and appointments, with the only major difference being found in the bridge section. 655 has the classic Edge locking trem bridge, while the 652FX has the fixed Gibraltar bridge. Both are standard-scaled six-stringers with classic RG body design. RG652FX comes with a solid and double-cut basswood body (same as the 655 model) and it`s paired with the five-piece maple/walnut neck. Pickups for this model are supplied by DiMarzio (DiMarzio is one of favorite and most popular pickup brands in Ibanez catalog). Tone Zone in the bridge and Air Norton in the neck have enough power to stand their own against all active pickups. Master volume, master tone and a five-position blade switch make up the controls. Five-piece neck is topped with a series standard rosewood fingerboard with jumbo-sized frets, classic dot inlays and 1.69" wide locking nut.
