RG was one of the first major guitar series to adopt seven-stringed guitars into the standard lineup. While the others were dipping their toes and checking the water, Ibanez jumped right in and embraced extended-range axes. It paid off. Big time. The same thing happened with eight-string and nine-string guitars. At 2016 NAMM, RG range has received five new models, two seven-stringers among them. RG752AHM is a seven-stringed guitar with a standard 25-1/2" scale, bolt-on construction and passive electronics. The only color option available for this extended-range beast is Nebula Green Burst. RG752AHM kicks off with an ash body and a five-piece maple/wenge neck. Super deep cutaways and neck`s Wizard-7 profile allow an easy access to fingerboard`s 24th fret. Maple-made fingerboard features 1.89" wide locking nut, 16.90" radius and classic black dot inlays. The headstock matches the body, with a Nebula Green Burst decal on top. DiMarzio`s PAF 7 humbuckers offer a mighty, yet surprisingly versatile tone. These passive/ceramic humbuckers have a simple controls unit (master volume, master tone and a five-position blade switch). Edge tremolo bridge and Gotoh tuners keep this mean machine in perfect tune.
