RG Prestige Electric Guitars by Ibanez
RG752FX is one of many seven-stringed electrics introduced by Ibanez at this year`s NAMM show. Also, it is one of several RG Prestige series novelties. It comes with a solid and double-cut RG body made of basswood. Basswood is the most prominent body wood in the entire RG range (RG Tremolo, RG Fixed, RG Premium and RG Prestige feature models made of basswood). Classic flat-top design and bolt-on neck joint are matched with deep cutaway and pronounced horns. On the top, Ibanez installs the seven-saddled Gibraltar bridge with cosmo black plating. In it`s front, there are two passive humbuckers. They`re Dimarzio`s PAF 7 pickups (despite being passive, these bad boys can compete with EMGs, Blackouts and the rest of the active humbucker pack). Simple controls unit is made up of master volume, master tone and a five-position blade switch. Neck is made of five laminates of maple and wenge and features a modern variant of the classic Wizard contour in the back. 24-fret rosewood fingerboard completes the specs.
