RGD321 is a mean machine with down-tuned strings and super-strong pickups. It comes with strings tuned down a whole step and spanning over a 26-1/2" scale, instead of regular 25-1/2". As the rest of the RGD guitars do, this one also features extra deep cutaway and a body made of basswood. Body is contoured in the back for comfort and also has a carved top. However, it does not feature a top wood cover. Black Flat with satin finish is the only color scheme assigned to this model. Bridge section features a Gibraltar bridge with string-through construction. Pickups are VK rail humbuckers, made especially for down-tuned guitars. Three-piece maple neck is bolted to the body and topped with a 24-fret rosewood fingerboard.
