RG421QM is one of several models introduced into the RG Fixed series by Ibanez Guitars. It is making it`s debut in 2013 and it`s specs list promises some outstanding performance abilities. RG421QM comes with a solid, double-cut body, standard for the RG series. It`s flat on the top and contoured in the back. Also, construction wise, this model features bolt-on neck joint and a deep lower cutaway for easier access to the upper frets. Two tone woods are used for the body of this six-stringer, mahogany is used for the back and quilted maple for the top. Transparent Red Burst and Gray Burst comprise the color palette for this model. Bridge is fixed. It features six saddles and string-through construction. Infinity pickups are standard for the RG Tremolo and RG Fixed series, and RG421QM is no exception, as it features a pair of Infinity humbuckers. Neck is made of three pieces of maple and it features Wizard II contour in the back. It is topped with a regular 24-fret fingerboard made of rosewood.
