Due to the price limitations, RG Standard models most often come in "bare-bones" style, focusing heavily on playability and build quality. But, sometimes, a classy axe might slip through the ranks. RGEW521FM is one such model. A brand new 2018 model (introduced at NAMM), this gorgeous little RG offers a solid and double-cut RG body (mahogany base, two-piece flame maple top, tortoise binding), a roasted maple neck (Wizard III contour, recessed bolt-on joint), a 24-fret Macassar ebony fingerboard (jumbo frets, dot inlays, 1.69" nut, 25.5" scale), a standard fixed bridge, DiMarzio pickups, and die-cast tuners.
