RGD7421 is placed within the RGD Series in Ibanez Catalog It is the line of models dedicated to metal guitarists who seek total reliability in low register for bone-crushing riffs. The RGD7421 is a solid bodied double cutaway model with a body made of basswood. It is available in black flat, Ibanez`s version of black satin color option. carved top features no binding or pickguards. The bridge on this model is Edge 7, the seven string version of good old Edge. It is paired with a locking nut for the extra stability. The pickups on RGD7431 are two humbuckers. One is placed in the bridge and one in the neck position. They are controlled through a master volume knob with a three-way toggle switch. The wizard shaped neck is made of five pieces of maple and walnut and paired with a bolt-on joint. The fingerboard is equipped with 24 jumbo sized frets and elegant black pearl dot position inlays. RGD7421 is a new model made and released just in time for the exhibition at NAMM 2012 Show. The MSRP for this model is set at $828.
