RGIB6 is one of new models in the Iron Label series. It was introduced by Ibanez at the 2014 NAMM Show, along with several other Iron Label updates. This one is a baritone-scaled six-stringer with a scale of 28". Solid and double-cut body of this roaring six-stringer is solid, double-cut, made of basswood. Design-wise, RGIB6 belongs to the RG family with it`s pronounced cutaway horns and flat top. On the top, bridge section is fit with a one-piece hardtail bridge. It features six saddles and black plating. Electronics are active on this model. Pickups combo is supplied by EMG. Bridge position has the classic 81, while the 60 is in the neck position. Simple controls unit is made up of master volume, master tone and a three-position blade switch. Neck is made of two pieces of maple and one piece of bubinga in the middle. On it`s top, there is a 24-fret fingerboard made of rosewood. Jumbo-sized frets, side dot inlays, 1.77" string nut and 12" radius are featured on the fingerboard.
