The legendary RG range is the backbone of the Ibanez catalog, more specifically of its electric guitar range. Among the many tiers and sub-series of the RG line, RG Standard (the most affordable one), is the most popular and best-selling of them all. Ibanez`s 2018 lineup (introduced at NAMM Show) features a large number of RG Standard models, with a heavy emphasis on the fixed-bridge side of the roster. RGRT421 is a fixed-bridge model and, judging by its numerical designation, is the new base model of the fixed-bridge unit. It offers a solid, double-cut RG body (mahogany wings, no binding, no top veneer), a 5-piece maple/walnut neck (through-body construction), a 24-fret jatoba fingerboard, the standard fixed bridge, passive QUantum humbuckers, and die-cast tuners.
