Semi Tone is a model from the highly acclaimed Maranello series made by Italia Guitars. Italia is not, as one might suspect, an Italian brand. In fact, it is a British brand with Italian name and vintage-styled guitars. Models form this series are mainly vintage styled and are inspired by 1950s and 1960s guitars and European culture. Maranello Semi Tone is an excellent example. It comes with a semi-hollow and single-cut body made of mahogany back and sides. Top can be made of either flamed maple or quilted maple. Two-piece bridge section on this model is made up of a tune-o-matic bridge and the stoptail bar. Two active humbuckers are also installed on the top. Set in neck is made of mahogany and it is topped with a 22-fret rosewood fingerboard.
