Jackson`s Custom Select series is made up of Special Edition guitars with a vintage `80s feel and tone. Only the best tonewoods, hardware and electronics make up these state-of-the-art axes. JCS Special Edition Kelly KE3H Snow White comes with a classic Kelly body (Jackson`s modified Explorer platform) made of alder. It is flat, single-cut and clad in pristine Snow White cloak. Black hardware and abalone inlaid ebony fingerboard provide the perfect contrast. Quartersawn maple neck runs through the body and supports a 24-fret fingerboard on its top. Electronics department boasts a DiMarzio Super Distortion in the bridge position. Two additional humbuckers are installed in the middle and neck positions. The original Floyd Rose bridge, 1-11/16" locking string nut and a set of six Gotoh tuners complete the hardware section. The MSRP is set at pretty steep $5,469.83.
